Handmade from solid brass with a glass lamp enclosure, this authentic brass clipper ships oil lantern is built to the same specifications used to make the real lamps found aboard the classic clipper ships such as the Cutty Sark and Flying Cloud. Designed specifically for lighting a ship during the dark of night, these lanterns had to be sturdy enough to withstand turbulent conditions on an active seafaring vessel while maximizing the amount of light created from its flame. Not only a wonderful addition to a home or office, this lantern is also suitable for hanging in a patio, garden, or placement on an outdoor table.
